Makeup Application: $120 per person for bridal, special event, corporate head shot 60-90 minutes.

All done in the comfort of your own home/hotel room.
I start with skin prep ie hydration hydration, hydration. Hydrating spray with glycerin, a good quality hyaluronic acid serum and moisturiser. If you have very oily skin I use primer. Getting the best looking skin is probably my favourite part of the makeup process. If your skin looks good everything else looks good too! Having said that! Dehydrated, flakey skin is hard to to make look good no matter how many potions I use so please look after your skin in the lead up to your event. If you’re not sure how just ask me. I could talk about skincare all day.

I love to apply beautiful, natural and pretty makeup, enhancing what you’ve got. Not a big fan of plastering it on, heavy contouring etc. This often only looks good if you’re 13-25 years old and your main aim is to look good on the socials and not IRL. I will of course do this if you wish! The customer is always right after all. I may just have a slightly disapproving look on my face is all.

We’ll work out what look you’re after before the application day but if you’re not sure that’s ok too. We can work it out as we go.

False lashes are not compulsory! But highly recommended , especially for photos - they really make the eyes pop! I use strip or individual clusters depending on what look you’re after. They’re included in the price so why not? Lash lifts are hard to apply fake lashes to so please bear this in mind. I would also love it if you got your eyebrows tinted and waxed/threaded at three or four days before your makeup application too ploise :)

I use all different brands of makeup. Being freelance I don’t have to be loyal to one brand so I get to use my favourites. I only use high end or professional brands as I do think quality makes a difference and makes you feel more special. I do however use “drug store” mascara and some lipsticks as I’ve found some that are beautiful and better quality than more expensive brands.

Do you have absolutely no idea how to apply makeup? Do you want to learn how to apply a quick makeup look in 10 minutes? Are you a busy, tired mum who wants to look less scary (I’m allowed to say that because I’m a mum who looks quite tired and scary sometimes.) Do you want to know how to do a nighttime look/going “out out” look? Have you been wearing the same makeup since 1994 (Body Shop bronzing pearls and Rimmel Heather Shimmer lippie???)

If the answer is yes, I’m your woman. I’ll suggest what I think will look great for you. I don’t sell you products. Just suggest them and point you in the right direction (send you links etc so you can order on the couch with a wine.) If what I suggest is too exxy I’ll send you some dupes.

Hair $30

I’m NOT a hair stylist so I don’t do “hair ups” but I can do ghd simple waves for you.

A bit about me

I have been a makeup artist for around 15 years. I’m also a Clinical Nurse Coordinator currently working at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. This means my hygiene standards are second to none. (I’m also a hand hygiene auditor at The Royal Melbourne Hospital FYI!) My brushes are always clean (to the detriment of some of the lovely wooden handles), my makeup is always sanitised and my hands are always alcohol drenched ( much to the detriment of my lovely skin.) And of course I am fully vaccinated for all communicable diseases! It also means I might take a day or two to get back to your email enquires.

I became obsessed with makeup and skin care when I was a tween (but that word wasn’t invented in those days) when I suffered from terrible acne and have been obsessed ever once.

I have a wealth of experience applying makeup for brides, events/special occasions and for corporate head shots for your business and just love the art of makeup and how fabulous and confident it can make you feel
